Dear Friends,
I hope this message finds you well. As we approach the eagerly awaited return of Lake Country's Annual Wild Game Dinner, we are reaching out to community partners and businesses that have been instrumental in making this event a grand success in the past. With the challenging times we've faced due to COVID-19, we've missed coming together and celebrating the spirit of our community.
This year's Wild Game Dinner was a huge success! It was hosted on Thursday, April 11th, 2024 at a new venue Fete of Wales! This held a special significance as it marks our first gathering since 2020. We brought back approximately $30,000 to organizations in need within the Lake Country area. We are always committed to raising funds for our beloved community organizations, which tirelessly strives to ensure that every resident in Lake Country has their basic needs met with compassion. It's a vision that unites us all, and your support can play a significant role in making it a reality.
Our 501(c) status ensures that all donations are fully tax deductible in accordance with the law, making your contribution not only impactful but also beneficial to your organization. We are seeking monetary donations for raffle items and various event necessities, such as microphones and speakers, rentals, and other items that can be interchanged as needed to enhance the experience of our attendees.
Your generous contributions have always made our event more vibrant and successful. Whether it's a unique raffle prize, audio equipment, or anything that you can offer, we would be immensely grateful. Your support will help us in achieving our fundraising goals and making this year's Wild Game Dinner even more memorable.
If you are interested in contributing or have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at sandraknoff@gmail.com or visit friendsofnashotah.org to learn more about us and our mission. We are more than willing to discuss how we can collaborate and showcase your generosity to our community.
Thank you for your continued support and dedication to the well-being of Lake Country. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our fellow residents.
Warm regards,
Sandra Knoff, President
What do we do?
The Wild Game Dinner and Fundraiser started in 1998 to fund Nashotah’s celebration of the Wisconsin sesquicentennial. Local hunters donated pheasants, rabbit, elk, moose, venison and a “Wild Game” dinner was created from the donated game. In the following years the event grew, became more successful. Today, our dinner attendees share two things in common, first a love of wild game and secondly, the opportunity to participate in an event that benefits Nashotah and the Lake Country area.
Over the years, from this event The Friends of Nashotah has returned to Lake Country organizations over $600,000.
